Cancellation Policy


S.C.D. is committed to providing superior quality services to its customers and Location Host. To assist us in maintaining a consistently high level of service with our Host and patrons, customers are asked to cancel any reservations that they will be unable to honor at least 72 hours in advance of the date of the reservation. You may cancel your reservation online or call the hotline directly (888)705-0317 . To cancel a reservation, simply email the information disseminator at pirate@thescdsf.com. Please note, while there are NO REFUNDS for cancellation of a reservation, we ask that you please try to fill the spot with another patron.  Cancellations have the option to be credited to the guest next reservation (this will be considered on a case by case basis). Simply put, there are No Refunds for any reason or circumstance.


If the customer fails to arrive or call us (415-816-8787) at the location within fifteen minutes of the reservation time they will be considered a "No-Show". The S.C.D. may not be able to honor the reservation, and client will forfeit their donation and or be given credit for a future reservation (again, this is on a case by case basis). It is the customer's responsibility to arrive on time.


Change Policy


If you make a menu request that is outside of our normal program, at the Chef's descression, a $25.00 per individual donation will be asked of you. Thank you for you understanding and don't fear your food. We understand that you may have alergies, each situation will be handled on a case by case basis.


Privacy Policy


As a Client, you will be asked to provide a name and a telephone number in order to complete the reservation, as you usually would by making a reservation over the phone.  In addition, you will be asked to provide an email address to which S.C.D. will send to your attention automated service messages pertaining to your reservation. S.C.D. will use this email address for no other purpose unless you have consented to receive marketing material from S.C.D.  and/or “the Pirates” (which are part of the 9 Monkeys / R.P.G. Network), in which case S.C.D. will collect data on the category and location at which you have made reservations in order to send you marketing communications which match your preferences. You may also unsubscribe from the S.C.D.  Email list at any time by sending an email to pirate@thescdsf.com.


You may be invited via email to provide feedback on your dining experience by completing a web-based Guest Book, located on the Dissidentchef.com site (“Feedback Form”). Diner feedback may be used to enhance the information on the S.C.D.  Website and/or to let the pirate team know how they are doing. Any feedback you provide will be summarized with that of other diners. Your feedback will not be publicized in a way that is attributable to you by name, email address, or other identifiable form. You may select not to receive future feedback invitation emails by following the “unsubscribe” instructions at the bottom of the Feedback Form.
